I've got the Swaro 8x56s, same rubber end 'caps' and they are snug and stay on when not in use. I don't see how rubber can wear out, especially after only 3 years . . . I find the rubber 100% better over any plastic types as they are too noisy.
However, personally, I wouldn't buy new ones -- I'd wrap about 2 times around the bino barrels with electrical tape and see how snug they fit. If it needed more, wrap 2 more times around.
Course, that's just how I'd fix it -- I'm not a perfectionist. If you are, you're probably going to have to go thru the hassle of writing Swarovski to get replacements free, or buy new ones. But, I'd be leary of new ones if the one's you got are already so loose. Granted at the price of Swaro's, you shouldn't have to do that, but I don't have any other ideas at the moment, Waidmannsheil, Dom.
