Had a buddy with an older Elite 4000 that had the identical warranty issue. He was screwed but they did offer to sell him a new 4200 for more than he could have bought it at any of the discount scope retailers on the 'net!
He called SWFA where he originally bought it and they replaced it immediately regardless of Bushnell's stance! Guess where he's buying his next scope from?
