...thanks for the input, sound advice. I'm just intrigued by that particular round. I have several .22's and shoot everything from BB caps through "hyper" velocity ammo (emphasis on the HYPE).
...and yes I do tend to go off on tangents...20 years ago, before it was a sin to turkey hunt with a rifle, I acquired an Interarms MK-10 Mini Mauser in .223, had my 'smith chop off the BACK of the barrel and rechamber for .221 Rem Fireball (This was before Kimber started building rifles in this caliber). Rate of twist wont allow me to shoot light (hornet) weight bullets but the 55 gr. make the same diameter hole (when loaded properly). Don't get to turkey hunt much any more but cayotes are becomming a problem, may just be a use for the heavier bullets after all.
