Around here, if a M29 is going for $650 it better have been used by Dirty Harry. I think mine was around $350 and it was in great shape. Absolutley love the pistol. If you have a hard time meeting people and striking up conversations, get a M29 and take it to the range. People love to come over and talk about it and drool over it. You'll hear all kind of stories about them too. Someone knew someone's brother's cousin who had one and broke their wrist firing it. Someone shot clean through an engine block with one etc. On the all time classics list with the Colt SAA, the 1911 and others. Can ya tell I like mine?
