Oh, I tried several different types of ammo and ran several groups. CCI Mini Mags were the best. Standard velocity was not so good. Most through flyers high and they were all after the first shot. I don't think it was moisture as much as shifting the gun on the bags during rechambering. The stock was rubbing the barrel on the bottom of the channel on this gun. With that information, I don't think I'm jumping into anything.
I prefer to float all my barrels in regards to rifles. I live in Western PA. This gun WILL get wet someday. Unless a good wooden stock is sealed, it will shift some to moisture. Some rifles are not sensitive to this, but some are.
I've since bedded the lug and floated the barrel. It's been too cold here to shoot outside (IMHO) so I'll have to wait, but if results are poor I'll simply glass contact point and begin differing torque values. Eventually, I'll find what it likes.
Finding a rifle's abilities can be a process and I enjoy that process, not just the end result.
