Having recieved a Remington 700BDL in .25-06Rem for Christmas I've been following this thread closely and feel a little more relieved now. I think there are a lot of exceptions to the rule. I currently reload for 13 different calibers. The only rifle barrel I found to burn out too quickly was the .243Win. That one surprised me. Maybe it shouldn't have. Best wishes.
