Thanks everyone, I really appreciate yur words.
I don't think I ever did post about it, was the week before Christmas and didn't want to put a damper on anyone else's holidays.
Was a very different Christmas this year but I have to admit that having Cat around has made all the difference in the world.
Sam had a long healthy active life, she turned 14 Sept. 2004, and even up to the last week she was out playin with Cat and having fun now and then. It took all of us a couple weeks to get use to not having Sam around but I know she's up there playin with all her new friends, just waiting for Cat to show up so she can get her back for some of the pranks she pulled.
