In MN, IA, and most of the Dakotas, a lot of the coyote dogs are Airdales. They are the biggest of the "Rough Coated" Terriers.70-80 lbs for the big Oorang variety. Big, tough and fast. A buddy
of mine from IA has 4 of them and the are a blast to hunt with.
A little proof as to how tough they are; Three years ago, a group
of us went to TN for wild boar and the guides were using Airdales
to run the pigs. They said that you don't have to worry about the
quarry killing your dogs when you use the Airdale.

P.S. You have to get them from hunting breeders.
The show stock is garbage.
