I would'nt know where to go in california.I would imagine in the desert anywhere a little cover could be found as well as around any water source ie; rivers,sloughs etc..Areas such as orchards and vinyards are suposed to attract jack rabbits,from what i've read.Around here they are all over you can walk in almost any type of field and put up jacks.We start hunting them once the snow is on the ground and the ditches freeze.Where did you used to hunt jacks,model 70.
