Hi 243hunter,

Hmmm sounds like you need a decent scope The reticles on the majority of US scopes are too fine for hunting in imbr at near dark and just before sun up. As the Europeans hunt this way most of the time their scopes usually have heavy reticles so hey are visible in these conditions. The only thing is that the heavy reticle makes shootign small groups on the range or whilst sighting in more difficult as it obscures more of the target, The centre cross of the reticle in my pecar covers 1" of the target no matter which power the scope is set on.

The 4 US made scopes I have are all used for daylight hunting, maybe the first hunting period of te day depending on where I am hunting and what is the quarry, otherwise it's back to the Eurpoean scopes so I can see the reticle as the lights really fades.
