Welcome southernwaterfowler! Try using the "browse" button in the attach file section while you're in the reply mode. Just find the file when you browse a double click it, it will load itself.
Keep in mind if you aren't successful the first time, that attach file option goes away so you might want to start with another post or just reply to this one.
