andy, i have always been a fan of the .270 and if you decide to let that one go let me know what you need for it i might be able to sneak a deal my wife wont know about. i'm in mo so that helps.
i have a son who will be hunting soon and a 270 would be nice as i can get him reduced loads now and full throttle it in a couple of years. i assume open sites on that critter.
