Glad to see your post. I was thinking about breaking down and trying one, maybe, but I`ll put that out of my head now. I bought into the Burrius makes better handgun scopes than Leupold.
I bought a 3 x9 and a 1 1/2 x 4. The 3 x 9 wouldn`t group well at all on 9x and on 3x the point of impact was over 6 in. from the point of impact on 9x. The 1 1/2 x 4 seem to do alright except it won`t go over 3x. I`m going to be getting a pair of 2 1/2 x 8 Leo`s. About $ 950 for the pair, but I`ll have 2 higher powered handgun scopes that work.
