My last three rifles have been Reminton 700s, 2 BDLs and a Classic. They all shoot quite well, as good as my Remingtoins of the '70s, but and this is a big "but", I've had to shell out in excess of $250. on each for glass bedding, barrel floating and trigger adjustments to make them shoot as well as my older Remmys. I guess they are no different than the other manufacturers in this respect. Best wishes.
