Evan, were those scopes you were comparing mounted and in a shooting scenario or just off the shelf side by side? Where the relief is very critical on those X-II's is when you set that rifle up on a by pod or even bench rest. Until you have absolutely perfect alignment the X-II's would go black, there was just very little forgiveness if you weren't perfectly aligned which at times when Varmint shooting can be tough. Just my experience, that's all.

skeet, I never answered your question about the B&C Reticle. I love it! So much that I am going to send my 8.5-25x50 in and have the Varmint Reticle installed.
