I asked myself the same questions
last year. I settled on a ruger m77
stainless in 3006.
I couldn't be happier.
I have never owned a 3006 prior to this
one just cause they seem so common.
But the great thing is the awsome
choice of factory ammo.
This thing is great for hunting in the
rain. Sythetic stock that is totally
inert to the weather. Stainless if
weather proof. A great rifle.
