But, like you, I hunt all over. Mostly on a few places in Payne County, and then down in Coal County. I grew up in Hennessey in NW OK chasing whitetails up and down the Cimmaron River. And I've spent quite a few hours in a stand up north around Nash and the Great Salt Plains.
I got to get out and hunt this past weekend, opening days for Bowhunting. As you know, it rained all night Friday. Saturday morning the rain moved out about 7:45 and deer were moving all over the place for about an hour. Then, I never saw another deer for a day and a half.
