Yes, I reload and shoot Hevi-Shot. Occasionally, I have been known to actually hit and kill a duck or goose. My best shooting is when I'm clad in my pink tutu which isn't too cold to wear in the early season out here but boy do I get chicken skin by the time late December and January roll around.
Last year I launched more Fasteel than Hevi-Shot only because my hunting situation changed a bit. Last season was the first year for me in a rice blind. Shooting is generally at decoying birds so they're in closer within the limitations of steel shot. The Geese get the Hevi primarily because they are all passing shots, they don't want in like the ducks do. Before last season when my hunting was on a different, what I would call "semi-private" land, the shots tended to be pretty consistant "pass" shots and my connection was much better with the Hevi-Shot.
