Is the screw stuck or is the plastic site obscuring it?
I cannot remember what mine looked like when I installed them and all the guns are at my parents right now. Can you post a pic.
If memory serves me correctly, I didn't have to take the fiber optic sight out to get to the screw. Again, if you can post a pic, I will probably be able to help you out a little more.
