I tumble my brass but prefer not to use any liquid in the cleaning process since it tends to cause clogging iside the case and priming pockets. I simply use a product called Lyman Tuf-Nut which is impregnated with jewellers rouge. It cleans well and polishes without clogging and doesn't contaminate the media so quickly. birchwood casey is a liquid cleaner. mix up the solution according to directions and immerse the casings in the cleaner, take them out and rinse in hot water blow dry with a hair to speed the drying time if it pleases you and when dry the cases are ready to start the reloading process. no media involved.
