Bands are awesome. I killed a duck from New York that had a $100 reward band on it. I killed a goose that was banded in Quebec. I killed another goose that was banded in PA and it was 12 years old when I killed it. I also killed a couple that were in the same banding group because the numbers are really close.
In the end, it isn't so much about having the bands around my neck, but more about helping with the tracking of the birds and have the stats in the filing cabinet from the cards that I get.
Good luck to the rest of you on the bands and make sure you report them.
I am sure that Skeet has a box full of bands at his place, and he is probably willing to part with them for cheap. LOL
