Read the book, major complaint, it is too short. I ran out of read before I was ready to be finished....
Good job. I was waiting for someone to blow themselves up with that emersion heater. Mo-gas is bad enough, but Av-gas, well, it just had to happen, been there done that. The whole book brings back many memories.
As I am sure you know, there are quite a few old FACs around here, thrown in with a few Ravens, a few Jolly Greens and a couple of CCTs and a PJ or two for a little spice.
Between Hurlburt and Eglin, they seem to keep the area populated with retired spooks, Delta folks etc. The military living legends that you meet here is amazing, the names read like a who's who in national headlines. Hell, I went down to get a haircut and there we were, three of us in the shop, barber, me and Richard Secord.
