I am truly sorry that this happened to you, and can only hope that you and your dog are re-united in the near future.

As I have said before, some dogs are worth more than some people. Obviously, the person that took your dog is a dredge of society and should be shot on sight.

A couple of things to help prevent this, or help with the recovery of the dog, is the use of a tatoo or a micro chip on the dog to help identify it when it is taken to a vet or a shelter later on by the miscreant.
