Are they worth it? I'd say yeah....when you have trouble discerning the real birds from the decoys I think it removes all doubt the birds will drop right into them!
Canada's do require a bit more delicate handling because of that flocking but I think that can said about any of the flocked dekes nowadays. These Specs I got have individual bags and will get locked into my blind at the end of every day they are used. I have them to put around my blind along with a dozen or so full body GHG Mallards and Pins that I will buy very soon. I've hunted over spreads like this and when you have something that realistic on the rice check when those birds are making those passes or that final pass, again it sort of removes all doubt.
