Billy D,
I figured it was something like a bullet proof vest, but that much kevlar might slow a dog down a good deal.
Okla...,
Have you ever lost a dog to a hog? I almost lost my dog last year in a frozen pond when the ice broke on him, but it just took some getting wet and freezing on my part to get him back. I probably wouldn't be able to deal with my dog bleeding to death in front of me. I had one dog get shocked on an electric cattle fence, on his gums no less (i.e., he just had to stick his nose where it didn't belong). He went into convulsions and I thought he was going to die. Man, was I praying at that moment. Anyway, when he finally came out of it, he was pissed as hell and looking for the thing that did that to him. The rest of the day, he listened real well to every command I gave him, because 1/2 a second before he got shocked I had screamed NO, BUNKER.
Dogs are always good for some excitement.
