I`m an old guy and have been around for years. Got all of my kids out of the house several years ago and now have more money to put into my guns and scope than most of the younger generation. I bought my first centerfire rifle in 1965 and have learned afew things over the years. One of the first things I learned is that a rifle will shoot only as good as its sights. A bad shooting rifle will out shoot a tack driver if it has good sights and the tack drive has junk sights. I`ve never owned a Simmons but know several people that do, or have. Some like them and some don`t. I personally use only Leupolds any more, I`ve got about 30 of them. Of all of the people that I have talked to that have owned Leupolds I ran into 1 guy that could not use them at all. For some reason his eyes would not focus with the lense coattings Leupold uses, some problem with his eyes he said. Buy the best scope you can afford. If you trade guns, keep the scope.
