Kinda works both ways too...I sold a rifle over the internet, and fortunately the guy was able to come and grope it before he bought it.....

I would otherwise worry about possible shipping damage and having to give the guys money back and have my rifle damaged beyond repair.....

Or even the buyer coiuld "say" that it was damaged, and want a discount or something.....kinda why ebay is nice, at least you have a buyer/seller feedback system in place to help you out...though I know of a few shooting forums that do that as well.....
