I only own 3 fixed-sighted handguns and have been fortunate to be able to "load to the sights." Fixed sights on any handgun are useless, in my opinion, if you have a variety of bullet weighs to shoot in that gun, because none or (maybe) one will shoot to the sights, if you luck out.
For a few dollars more, get adjustable sights and shoot where your gun is "looking." Fixed sights are cheap and rarely on point of aim. If you like a "crap shoot", gamble on fixed sights; been there and done that!
