I don't think we have those here....

However, they do have ugly kids

I've been observing, from a distance, a Killdee/Killdeer nest that started w/3 eggs. Over the last couple of days the eggs have disappeared one by one with no trace????

Parents are still around the area but have observe, with spotting scope/binos, no chicks????

These guys were in the pasture.

They are easier to observe when they nest on the drive way but it gets to be a pain warning every one where not to drive. But it's kind of enjoyable.
