For your information I wasn't on any of the hunts you are referring to, and I don't recall making fun of you about the retrieve on the ice. If I said anything at all it was meant in FUN! I really don't know why this post IRKS you as you say,,, tell me more. My brother and I are honest people, not thieves, so what is it we are supposed to learn from this other than not leaving things out that someone may be tempted to steal?? I once had someone cut the head off of a deer that I shot with a bow and did not recover till morning, to this day it was probably one of the biggest deer I ever shot, I never got the head back, I catch poachers around here, allow them to keep the deer, help them clean it, wash it and take it to their vehicle, I help people with all kinds of things out of the goodness of my heart and now you are going to insinuate we have no conscience, give me a break man. That wasn't my goose out on the ice, I wasn't even there, I suggest you take this up with the right person.
By the way I'm glad you found someone to invite you on all their hunts, it saves you the time of finding places, getting permission and patterning birds, thats good. When have you EVER invited any of us to hunt one of YOUR places,, i.e. howard county??? Now count up the times you have hunted with US,,,, take your time.
I have an open invitation to hunt with alot of guys I consider friends, mostly because I help them hang stands, trim trees, and all kinds of things, not because I expect something in return but because I enjoy helping others, thats what friendship is all about. I've patterned birds at places for my friends to hunt on days or times that I couldn't even go, because it's not all about me, I enjoy seeing them have a good time, likewise I have hunted with them on property I have had nothing to do with getting permission, patterning the birds or anything else,, thats called reciprocation.
I am not saying you haven't done favors for people in our group, I know for a fact that you have, and that those things were appreciated, like getting the scope bases for the benellis for my brother and I for example. Mostly what I'm saying is your anger, frustration, etc. that you are expressing towards ME on this post is absolutely ridiculous. I have enjoyed our little heated debates about various topics on here, never have I gotten extremely angry or upset, I enjoy a good debate. The name calling is especially uncalled for, I don't appreciate you calling my brother an idiot, but if it makes you feel better so be it.
