SQuash Time !
Hey Val, it's so hot here in West Virginia that our short-legged cows are giving evaporated milk !
Thought everyone might like this reciept, since there seems to be a good harvest of squash coming on:
1/2 package of Italian bread seasoning
1/2 pack of McCorrmicks chili mix
1 teasspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 cup milk
1 egg
Mix dry ingredients,
Beat one egg, add cup of milk
Slice squash, (I like the long yellow neck type) dip in egg&milk dip, dredge in above dry mix, then fry. YUMMMMMMM !
Make a light meal with a couple cold ones thrown in to boot !
