Dont really care what happened to them. I have been a loyal Remington shooter for years. Never owned anything but, other than one Ruger 77. That is until the last few years.
The last two Remingtons I bought new had to have major work. Actually, the last three, but I had planned it on one anyway. Bolt faces werent even square, let alone the usualy crappy trigger and other little things. My gunsmith says it used to be the exception that he had to true an action on a new Remington. Now its the norm. Big green has fallen and probably wont get up. Thing is, most folks dont know it. They buy one, piss around a little about how they cant find a load it likes and settle for a average or below shooter.
CZ is the way to go, IMO. About the same money and no problems with my limited experience, or the experiences of anyone else I have talked to.
