I own both, my Parker Hale uses a Santa Barbara action (they used a variety of contractors Yugoslavia being another). They assembled the barrelled action in their stocks and marketed them under a variety of models depending the importing country . My Brno is Czech built, action, barrel, wood, etc., has better quality in fit and finish, and is more accurate. All things being equal the Brno would come home with me.
