Yes there are many of us very loyal to this board. Petey once resuced us from the previous owner and a very bad situation back then.

Don't get me wrong there are things I absolutely won't buy without handling it first. One is a fishing rod. I have seen SOOO many rods with bent eyes, etc that were good high dollar rods, ergo I won't ever purchase another one without fondleling it first.

As for price, many times the online price IS better than the in store price, but you have to pay for that store front somewhere. The flip side is shipping and handling, problem orders, and other issues you often run into. Even the best companies have issues now and then. With a brick and mortar store if there is a problem you can demand a manager. With online you often can't. Again the flip side is online stores usually realize a good reputation is key to online business and protect it as best they can.

It is a very give and take sort of enviroment, and you can get a much better variety online than in a brick and mortar store. Of course sometimes the older items (Like a little Johnny Walker pole darnit) can only be found in the remote treasure trove of ancient brick and mortar stores.

Then I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labour the days of his life, which God giveth him under the sun. - Ecclesiastes 8:15 KJV

"The gun has been called the great equalizer, meaning that a small person with a gun is equal to a large person, but it is a great equalizer in another way, too. It insures that the people are the equal of their government whenever that government forgets that it is servant and not master of the governed." - 40th President of the United States Ronald Reagan 1911-2004
