He was a young deer with a large rack, didn't go over 180 lbs. Around here big bucks start at 220 and go up. I took one like that earlier that had broken off one entire antler making for a very unique "mount". It was much warmer then so we cut up our first couple deer rather quickly. The cold weather came just after we finished cutting.......
Took a nice 7 point buck as well. One of my best seasons in a while. I had to do some shuffling as the deer changed the way they travel through my area, and an active wolf pack has also impacted this.
I've been quite happy with the rifle so far and it's lived up to my expectations.
