I love my job! I am a Client Service Manager for an engineering and architechtural design firm. The firm deals mostly with government from the Feds on down to local townships. I develop relationships with potential clients, make sure that our current clients are happy with our work and maintain relationships and service between contracts. I started the job 18 years ago and bought into the firm as a partner 15 years ago. We have mostly repeat clients, so now I'm spending most of my time working with my friends. When I new guy comes along, the regulars tell him to call me and I will set him up with whatever he needs to do his job well and he will look like a hero to his bosses. Of course we have earned that reputation by providing great service. Many times when I set up an appointment with a client he makes arrangements for a project site visit followed by golf, fishing, some hunting or at the very least lunch /dinner and a drink or two. I am now specializing in Transportation related clients ( highways, bridges and all the related support services) and clients that are at the county government level. I do this for the whole nation however realisticly I spend most of my time in Wisconsin with trips to other Great Lakes states and the Rocky Mountain states. Beside my love for the outdoor sports I have started to restore old muscle cars. So far I have completed restoring a 69 Camaro convertible, a 68 Camaro convertible and am currently trying to buy a 67 Camaro convertible. I've convinced my wife that the cars are a good investment but she doesn't think I will ever want to sell them once I have collected my first generation Hat Trick. Now all I have to do is to convince her that an elk hunting trip is a good investment.
