We see quite a few KAHR's on the range. Not a bad gun actually but a high % of them dont function well for the first couple hundred rounds.
Personally, I would not carry any handgun for defense, including revolvers, that I had not shot a couple hundred rounds though, but I have to admit, when new, I see more KAHRs malfunction than other well made autos.
I have a K-40 which I bought used and dont recall it ever having a bobble but I have probably only fired it 500 times. It is a bit heavier than the "P" series guns.
Some really serious folks have adopted the P-9 compact to replace a J-Frame S&W .38 as their B.U.G. or Hideout. That sort of speaks well for them.
