The hook and ladder play was insane. For that to work out, you need a lot to happen. For instance, you need Oklahoma's defense to back up to the first down line to ensure the catch is even possible. You need the catch to be made, you need the second receiver to come around at the right time, you need the defense to over pursue, and you need the second guy to catch the ball and run it in for the touchdown because after that play was finished there was only 7 seconds on the clock. To me, that play was incredible.

Regarding the touchdown in OT, that wasn't too much of a gadget play. They needed 3 or 4 yards for a first down, so they brought in a runner. Florida does it all the time. However, the runner ended up throwing on this occassion. Florida has done the same thing.

The 2 pt conversion in OT wasn't that surprising. It was a draw to the weak side after loading up the strong side with 3 receivers and faking the pass out there.

I thought Boise just got too conservative towards the end of the second half. If they had been a little more aggressive and used a little better clock management, they would have easily won the game.
