Billy A, I need the scope to see! Old eyes and irons don't work together all that well. I swapped the scope out for an old El Paso Weaver V4.5.
Yes Rapier, the mounts are Weaver tip offs. Shooting 220 grain factory Remington Core-Lokts, its giving me 1.5 inch groups at 100 yards, and less than 1 inch at 50 yards. I keep the scope set at 2.5X
