Be sure to check with the Forestry Service as well. Once you decide on an area, get one of their maps. Then ask who is in charge of the area. Their service people are in the field all the time and can possibly suggest where they've been seeing Elk during the fall months. Also call the WY G&F and ask who's the Warden(s) for that area. Give them a call. I have found them to be friendly and very helpful. It wouldn't hurt to advise them when and where your camping, just in case. I suggest taking a good GPS and if possible a satellite phone. Good hunting, grayghost
