My dad continues to say that he was the smartest man on Earth to his kids until they turned 13. Then, he was the dumbest man on Earth to his kids. I just heard it yesterday.

Even though I have 7 years of higher education and my wife has 6, I am sure that we will be the dumbest people on Earth to Arianna once she turns 13.

My life has changed so many times that it is insane. I wrote a long post about this before. Life changed when I started racing bicycles at age 14 to age 17. I spent about 3 hours a day on a bicycle along with school work and soccer. Life changed when I got my first car at age 17 and had to work to pay for it. Life changed when I graduated high school. It changed again when I started college. It changed again when I graduated college and started my first job as an auditor. It changed again when I passed the CPA exam. It changed again when I went to law school. It changed again when I graduated law school. It changed again when I quit the firm I was working at and started at another. It changed again when I quit that firm and started working for another. It changed yet again when I went on my own. Life changed when I started dating my wife. It changed when we bought this house, when we got married, and when she got pregnant. Life changed when Arianna was born. Oh yeah, I started riding hard again and have my first race on Sunday. Life will change again when I buy my first rental property in the near future. It will change again when we have another child.

Life will continue to change.

Chance favors a prepared mind. We have done so much preparing and reading before this baby that things are going rather smoothly right now. I got a ton of work done before the baby was due, so I don't have to worry too much about work this week. The baby's room was finished weeks ago and we have baby supplies and clothes coming out of the wood works. We have almost every product that Graco makes.

Life is what you make of it. Right now, I am so happy that it is insane. I wouldn't change anything and I look forward to every change in life that comes along. Yep, there will be some things that we are unprepared for, but that is life.

Okay, I think this post is almost as long as my other one a couple of months ago when somebody told me that life will change. Heck, life changed when my wife found out she was pregnant.
