Yes Andy, but it depends on what you're going to use them for. I wasn't thinking to shoot game or fox with it, just birds and target shooting. I've got plenty of others much more appropriate for meat or game shooting. But you never know, sounds more like a bullet problem than a problem with the speed of it. For that matter, I love my 22 rf magnums so haven't been pushy on going the 17 route.
