is anyone following all the anti-gun movements

maybe it's me...maybe i'm just paranoid, but i see more and more anti-gun and anti-hunting legislation popping up every day it seems like.

the latest was in the internet news about the u.s. senate agreeing to listen to an anti-gun crusade effort.

here in kaliphornia, the senate has just passed the microengraving law and are about to pass no lead ammo law in the condors range. it's said by some of the pro-gun forces in kaliphornia that those two measures may kill hunting and firearms industries in the state. (it's estimated the microengraving process will add $700.00 to the price of a semi-auto handgun...so...your favorite 1911 .45acp will cost nearly $2000.00)

what's ironic about the microengraving law is the state senate funded a study by uc at davis that ascertained the process is flawed and unreliable and they still passed it!

if we are to survive as a viable community (hunting/gun) we need to keep an eye on our legislators...

we, especially here in kaliphornia, are nearing the "police state" status...like it or not.
