Wow Watchmaker, great job and thanks for the information, I appreciate the time and testing you have done. I'll have to check out that Bear Cub light, quite impressive. I also do a lot of night hunting, for Wild Boar, European style, and just use a simple AA Mini Mag with red lens to go to & from stand. I've got a Surefire G2Z in my pocket for those times when I want to go looking at the spot of the shot, and then, depending on what I find and terrain will determine if I look further in the dark, that plus the size of the Boar I shot at. One thing that is kind of eery is 'stumbling' by yourself through the briars and woods with not enough light after a possibly wounded boar -- and he's not scared of you either, so I appreciated your rundown, Waidmannsheil, Dom.
