Even the Bighorns are griz country now. Saw one up there not too long ago(at about 40 ft). I was in my truck. Bout a 400 pounder. I also saw a cow that had a great chunk bitten out of her neck area up in the Bighorns. Terrible looking thing. Still nursing a calf when I saw her. Don't know how she got away from the griz. Many nasty looking scratches all over her..especially down her sides. The state says there ain't no griz up there.
