There is always a dick head in the DA that thinks that elite units are a bad thing, cause they ain't one, and want everyone to be the same. Reminds me of the black hat fiasco, stupid is as stupid does.
Course when the ship runs aground and the crap hits the fan, that same dick head goes looking for the folks that can walk the walk and tote the load. 
Yep, wear any kind of identifier today and someone will stop you to talk. I was sitting in a lounge with an old fellow on Christmas Eve 1994. He said to me: "You know where I was 50 years ago?"
