If you are an inveterate gun tinkerer, as many of us are, there is always the temptation to try 'just one more thing' to tune a rifle. IME, the hardest thing for a gun tinkerer to learn is when to quit messing with things.
You have a hunting rifle that is zeroed where you want it, shooting good groups with the first shot from a clean dry bore going very close to the shots from a fouled bore.....
STEP AWAY FROM THE RIFLE
You have your hunting rifle set up perfectly- now is the time to quit messing with it.
