That story truly sucks. I never knew that you had to have guns registered in Florida. Hopefully, an unregistered gun isn't a big deal, and I cannot imagine that it is anywhere close to carrying a concealed weapon. Sometimes, law enforcement just kills me. We need to start employing polygraphs after crimes occur so that we can sort through all this BS. There are just too many criminals.

The Judges use overcrowded jails as an excuse for decreased sentences, but I believe that decreased sentences just lead to more overcrowding because the same criminals continue to break the law because there is no punishment. On top of that, too many people go to a country club when they are sent to prison versus a real prison. These guys should be made to break rocks in the hot sun and the freezing cold. They also shouldn't get breakfast, lunch, or dinner until they have broken a certain quota of rocks to earn them food.

Wardens should receive monetary bonuses based upon the number, or lack thereof, of repeat offenders from their prison.

This is why fewer and fewer people want to look out for anybody else but themselves.
