We should allow San Francisco and DC to be case studies. Ban the possession of handguns in San Francisco and see if handgun crime declines. It didn't work in DC, but who knows with San Francisco. Then, legalize the possession of handguns in DC and even allow more law abiding citizens to carry concealed, and see if it deters crime. Might be a pretty good study on guns and their influence on crime.
Then again, I guess proposing the ban in San Francisco is a little easier for me since I live by DC.
By the way, good for you Californians. It is about time that the foolishness stopped.
