Yeah, that sucks. Me, I just got out goose hunting today for the first time this season and we saw almost nothing, and those we saw locked up, then decided to abort right before they got into shooting range.
We picked up everything at 11:00 only to see a group of 30 come right over the field we were hunting, and 10 minutes later watch a group of 500 fly around in the air. To top it all off, as I was a mile from my house, I had 3 fly right over the car close enough to kill all three if I were in a field instead of a car, and there was about 1,000+ flying around my house.
Not as bad a day as you, but not a good one either. That is why we call this hunting.
